Commission

Wed Oct 8, 2008, 8:22 AM
I have a paypal I use for buying stuff on EBAY, but I'm trying to learn how to use it for the reverse. I guess it's early to start but heck, I'm offering commissions. If anyone thinks I'm good enough to make a pic/deviation for you don't hesitate to contact me. Just give me time and since I'm just starting out my rates will be low (for now, mwuahahahah). But That doesn't mean the quality will be low. I'll do my best for any project.

I'm mostly available on Monday and Wednesday. Those days I have no school or work. And on Tuesday and Thursday I have school but often draw between classes and have the evening afterwards to draw some more.

As far as prices go, well, I might not be DiVinci but that doesn't mean commissioning with me will get you crap. So for a balance starter price I guess I'll say 5 bucks for a simple sketch. Pencil and/or ink. If you want colored just add an extra 2 dollars. And I will do the best I ever have with coloring.

And if you really like what you get then be sure to spread the word. ^_^

I got my eye on you.

I've very sorry about the late reply to the message you sent me on polykarbon. I use a Wacom Intous 3 A4, it has 1024 pressure. However i have also used a graphire and bamboo and have found that even with the pressure measurement on each tablet it is difficult to tell the difference between them in use. The only thing i have ever really noticed is how far the pen works when its not in contact with the tablet [like mouse movements without clicking] My intous 3 works at about 1cm away where as a graphire one is 5mm which can take some getting used it. erm after using an a4 one now for 4 years i'd suggest an A5. i've noticed i got small smooth patches on certain areas i use alot which isn't much bigger than the a5 area.

It's ok. I'm just glad you did. Thanks for the info too. I heard there's not much difference between 1024 and 2048 pens. I'm currently looking at the intous 4 and stuff. Frankly anything's better than the tablet I currently have which is 512 and is a piece of crap.

ahh i should also add that the intous has tilt and rotation senstivity, which some of the others don't. So if you want your brushes to really mimic say a pencil then go for that. Most of the time though i wouldn't bother with these settings unless i was using painter which uses them automatically.

Sure thing. You have to tell me what program you use and how you get such smooth blending and rendering. I've tried so many times and always fail.
